Behind the find
The live-action Resident Evil films follow Alice from the outbreak inside Umbrella's underground Hive into a world transformed by the T-virus. Her search for survivors becomes a continuing battle against the company and the experiments it refuses to abandon.
These films use their own continuity, incorporating game characters and creatures into Alice's journey. Jill, Claire, Chris and Nemesis appear in roles adapted for this cinematic apocalypse, rather than reenacting the games' exact timeline.
