Lore, origin and why it matters

Four routes through the C-virus crisis

Resident Evil 6 follows Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jake Muller and Ada Wong through interconnected campaigns. The new C-virus drives outbreaks across North America, Edonia and China, drawing separate investigations into the same bioterror conspiracy.

The C-virus's changing forms

The C-virus produces several kinds of threat, including zombies, J'avo and creatures that emerge from chrysalids. The different infections give each campaign its own hostile encounters, linking mutation to the game's shifting locations and viewpoints.
