Lore, origin and why it matters

Ashley and Los Iluminados

Six years after Raccoon City, Leon Kennedy is sent to find Ashley Graham, the president's missing daughter. His search leads to a remote European village under the influence of Los Iluminados, where the Las Plagas parasite makes residents organized, hostile and frighteningly persistent.

Familiar survivors, uncertain motives

Ada Wong reappears during the mission, while Luis Sera offers knowledge that Leon needs but cannot immediately trust. The remake gives these relationships more room as Leon tries to protect Ashley from a threat that reaches beyond an ordinary rescue.
