Behind the find
The Keeper is a brutal pursuer in The Evil Within, wielding a heavy meat hammer beneath a barbed-wire-wrapped safe. The safe recalls where Ruvik kept his research, turning his need to lock away secrets and his anger at their theft into a physical threat.
Killing the Keeper's body may only buy Sebastian a little time. He can emerge again from other safes in the area, so a familiar object becomes a warning that the nightmare can return from another direction.
