Origin
Konami presents Origins as a prequel to earlier Silent Hill events. The title was released for PSP and PlayStation 2, making this version part of the series' handheld-to-console transition during the late 2000s.
Why It Matters
Origins looks backward rather than simply repeating the town's familiar imagery. It gives fans another path into Silent Hill's early mythology, with a different protagonist and a story built around investigation, memory, and unease.
