Behind the find
James Sunderland comes to Silent Hill after receiving a letter from Mary, his wife who died three years earlier. She asks him to find her in their 'special place.' His search passes through empty apartments, Brookhaven Hospital and the lakeside hotel where they once stayed.
James meets Angela, Eddie and Laura, whose reasons for being in Silent Hill differ from his own. Maria's resemblance to Mary makes the search still more uncertain, while the monsters turn personal grief and unease into threats he can touch.
