The Marker is Dead Space’s mysterious spiral-shaped artifact, entwined with the Necromorph outbreak and the faith of Unitology. The repeated plea “Make us whole” turns the idea of unity into a threat: its influence reaches into people’s minds, blurring messages, hallucinations and belief aboard the Ishimura.
